I never expected for a moment, when speaking to the lovely ladies at Lotus Petal Flowers in Keith, that I would fall head over heels in love with the wedding bouquet they supplied for an Autumn Styled Wedding Shoot. If you are looking for a florists that simply get what you are looking for and turn a simple vision into something spectacular, then look no further.
The brief for the styled shoot was left loose, some may say vague, however I like to think it gave the girls room to put their own creative stamp on the bouquet… and that they did! I provided a colour chart of the key colours that were being incorporated into the stationery, cake and venue styling. I would always suggest doing this as the more information you can give a florist the easier it will be for them to create exactly what you are looking for. My guidance on overall finish was that I didn’t want a bouquet that looked perfect, something slightly more rustic and textured round the edges.
I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the final design! Bringing touches of autumn harvest into the design with golden strands of wheat, rich red berries and warm rust blooms. A feature succulent adds a focal point to the bouquet, finished off with a delicate diamonte brooch placed on a satin ribbon.
The steading and woodland at Boharm House provided the perfect backdrop to showcase the rustic bouquet.
